Lisa B Warrington

Hi, I am Lisa Sherratt. The
'Lisa' behind Lisa B's
Back in 1986 I joined Warrington Collegiate for a City &
Guilds Course in hairdressing. After 2 years training and loads
of voluntary salon experience, I qualified and got my first job
in a Norris Street Salon. Just one year later my life was
turned upside down when the salon closed and I found out that I
was expecting my daughter. Undeterred I literally got on my bike
and 'went mobile' In 1993 I noticed a video shop for rent
on 'my patch' (Norris Street) within just a few weeks (with the
help of The Princes Trust) Lisa B's was born.
Business has been fabulous from that day on! I employed
four staff in my first year. I decided to be the very best
and use only the very best products, so after some trials and
selections I chose MATRIX, an excellent product that really does
give fantastic results both in the salon, and of course at home.
Ten years later I met my new husband, Ian, an ex-professional
rugby player and now a shop fitter (handy eh?) Ian and my
daughter Alisha persuaded me that my salon looked tired and
needed a refit, I t was then that I realised that I had outgrown
the premises and needed to up-size. It took along time to
find exactly the right building. In August 2006 Ian
started a 21 week project to build the new
Lisa B's. Our new salon
is fantastic, very, very stylish with a Matrix Hair Care Product
Shop and four styling stations.
Now that you know all about me you must call in and see for
yourself. We are hairdressers that listen to what you
want, we understand your lifestyle, your time frames and how
much time and patience that you have when styling your own hair.
A warm welcome is always available at Lisa B's, pop in for some
complimentary advice and decide if what we offer is right for

Hi I am Alisha, Lisa's daughter, and I
never wanted to be a hairdresser! I always wanted to
be an accountant, unlike my mum I loved school. At 13 mum gave
me a Saturday job, brushing up and brewing up. As well as
enjoying the extra money I also realised that I was getting paid
for being nice to people, for chatting and having fun. I
decided that I was a people person after all and not destined
for the office. Within weeks I was hooked learning all about
everything there is to know about hair. As soon as I left
school I went straight to hairdressing college and I was soon
being moved through the levels. My experience really paid
off. I am now in the salon full time, an excellent gents
hairdresser and also the wedding expert. My specialty is
my 'bob' haircut, and I can offer a sleek smooth straight blow
dry in a maximum of 30 minutes, Within 30 minutes you will
have the straight look that you have been dreaming of.
Please call in and get to know us. You will find us to be
a really friendly salon, modern stylish and with regular and
on-going training I think that we are also the best! |

| Hi, I am Chelsea Anderson. When I am not in
the salon I am still at school, where I play on the netball team
and until very recently I was a dancer with Warrington
Starlights. I have always wanted
to be a hairdresser. I was overjoyed when I
found out
that
I had been successful in my application for the Saturday job at
the new Lisa B's, I knew so many people who had applied! I work
on Saturdays and after school, I have been amazed how my
confidence has grown since I have been here. Lisa and
Alisha are so friendly and I can now feel comfortable holding a
conversation with you whether you 3 or 93
Every time I go to work I learn something new, which is a
fabulous foundation for my three year apprenticeship here at
Lisa B's. I must have really impressed her. I will
know when I am a true stylist when a client asks me for a
certain style and I can say "Yes, ok I can do that" I
can't wait! |
